I've been married for 20 years to a fabulous man, and we have two wonderful sons. I have a Ph.D. in family and interpersonal communication from LSU. I've been teaching effective communication skills to college students for 16 years. In my 'spare' time, I read all that I can get my hands on and write primarily about communication and the family.
